Where Can I Get More Information?

The best source of additional information about anything in this handbook is your Child Service Coordinator. Details about topics covered in this handbook can be found in the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program Manual, which is available from your Child Service Coordinator.

The Family Support Network (FSN) has a toll-free number and can provide you with information about disabilities, services, and parent support groups. Family Support Network can also tell you about advocacy organizations, your rights under the Infant-Toddler Program, and other resources available in your community. Their toll free number is (800) 852-0042.

The Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) has a toll-free number and can provide you with information about disabilities and services. ECAC also provides parent education workshops and can help you work through problems or concerns you might have with an agency serving your family. Their toll free number is (800) 962-6817.

The North Carolina Early Intervention Library has many print and video resources available for loan to parents. Topics include: disabilities, quality child care, inclusive settings, child development, parent support, and children's books. Library materials can be mailed to you along with return postage so that you can mail the materials back.
